From the wonderful mind of Art Cashin: forget the Bears, no more Bull, the latest addition in the financial zoo-- its all about the Platypus.
What is a Platypus? Glad you asked: "The Platypus is a semi-aquatic mammal endemic to eastern Australia. Together with the four other species, it is one of the five extant species of monotremes, that lay eggs instead of giving birth to live young. The unique features of the Platypus make it an important subject in the study of evolutionary biology and a recognisable and iconic symbol of Australia"
Here is the complete CNBC article with Mr. Cashin's analysis. And here is Chadwick Matlin analysis from Slate, commenting on this as well. What's next, adding Bambi to the mix ? The big question still remind, did the market bottom already and, the more important question: is it time to jump back into the market?

Sounds like a true Spore creature ;)
Come to think of it, Wall street is a real zoo.
And no matter how big you are there is always a predator waiting to take your money away :)
Loved it. I think this whole ordill around what Art Kashin said is over rated yet I believe he is absolutly right and we are facing a totaly new era.
Any idea where i can read more about it?
